How we work
Rivus Research House helps people understand markets and make more rational financial decisions. We filter out market noise and rely on what can be backed by numbers and the information we gather.
How we value companies
Our company valuations don’t rely on a single standard model. We also take into account:
- market context: sector trends, interest rates and the competitive landscape;
- historical and forward multiples: how the company is valued today compared with its own history and its peers.
For each company we model several scenarios: bear, base and bull.
In some cases we contact companies’ investor relations teams to better understand the current situation and outlook. We rely only on publicly available information.
A well-valued company does not mean the stock will rise soon: it can take time for the market to notice.
What we don’t do
- We don’t tell anyone when to buy, sell or hold.
- We don’t believe in getting rich quickly. One very bad decision can wipe out the results of several good ones.
How we use AI
The AI assistant answers general questions based on our approach and published research. Tailored analyses and research are written by a person.
